Fine, not sure I would pick this hotel again. Given the noise, it needs a few extra perks.

Free parking. Good eggs made to order. Friendly staff.

One small arepa is not enough for breakfast! Room was cold. Unusable internet. Location was loud being next to major road. Room was a bit run down and spartan-like -- even when clean, a run-down room just does not look that clean (i.e. not cleaning staff's fault)

The location is okay, the price is gentle with the pockets...

The location is okay, the price is gentle with the pockets :) The people at the reception were very kind.

The room was not clean at my arrival, I needed to call the cleaning service. The chef attention was not nice, I ate with my family and alone, but every time he came, he came with a really bad attitude. There was not minibar at the room.

What was the highlight of Hotel L'Etoile Javeriana

Good.

Breakfast is very good: eggs, cheese, fruit, coffee, hot chocolate. The beds are excellent. Room is spacious. Staff friendly, but they do not speak much English. You can safely walk to Candelaria in 20 minutes along Carrera 7, with shops, restaurants, banks etc.

Breakfast: the third day of our stay there was no longer any butter on the buffet table. The following days the butter did not reappear. No explanation from the staff. The day before we left the toilet flush in our room was out of order. We managed to flush by lifting a handle inside the waterbasin. We reported it of course. Nothing was done, it was on a Sunday. They promised to do something about it the next day. When we left, the problem had not been solved yet.

It was good value for money

The breakfast had a poor selection of bread, some days there were no butter and little choice of fruit. I always had to ask for boiling water for tea as only coffee was available. For a three star hotel I expected the basic room and not an extensive breakfast, but before booking the accommodation it stated that the staff was able to speak English, which is not the case.

None of the staff were able to speak English. This made it difficult to communicate at breakfast and at reception. We had to communicate using Google translating service on my laptop.

Everything else: room was uncomfortable; bathroom was very small and uncomfortable; limited toiletries (we had to request more toilet paper, un third of a roll is certainly not enough); staff at the restaurant is not adding food at regular intervals during the breakfast time (when we arrived, there was almost no food or plates and the waitress was not around).

The cost-benefit is excellent. Well located, friendly staff, Clean, Nice Room.

Wi-fi could be more reliable, even though worked for most of the time, It had some interruptions.

Nothing. This is the worst hotel I stayed in my life

All. They only give you one key. They do NOT change the towels. The bad is terrible. ! Beds are a nightmare

Very good location on Carrera 7 within walking distance to...

Very good location on Carrera 7 within walking distance to some parts of downtown or 10 minutes by taxi. Clean room & bathroom. I chose this hotel as an overnight transit stay (airport landing at night, taxi to hotel, sightsee Bogota in the morning, then taxi to long distance bus terminal to go to another tourist city in mid-afternoon): this hotel's location works well for this sort of overnight transit & sightsee stay. Staff very helpful (e.g. to find smaller change to pay taxi fare).

Great Value Hotel

We had a large room at the front with a nice view. The room was very clean and shower was great. Lovely staff and good breakfast - good value for money.

You couldn´t open the window in the room so felt quite stuffy, some ventilation would have been nice.
